OUR HOUSE IN LAGRASSE

The house is situated in the medieval village of Lagrasse with its cobbled streets, quiet squares, 8th century abbey and very own river beach! Lagrasse is officially classed as "one of the most beautiful villages in France" and enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Nestled in the foothills of the Corbières, the village is just 40 minutes from the Mediterranean and its sandy beaches.

We have named the house "La Maison du Berger Constant" because it belonged to a local shepherd, Monsieur Constant, who would leave the village each year in spring to tend his flock in the Pyrenees and return to the house in time for winter.

Master Bedroom (3m x 5m) with a double bed, chest of drawers, hanging space and sofa

Luxury shower room with toilet, sink and bidet off the landing

Electric convector heaters in the bedroom and shower room

The landing has a lovely night lamp made of white pebbles from the river. Very atmospheric at night!



SECOND FLOOR

Second bedroom (5m x 5m) with three double beds

This room has a Narnia-style wardrobe, lots of clothes storage and two large airers
