Stuart Benton fell in love with France at the tender age of twelve and has worked with French people and French companies all his adult life. Recently, after visiting the deep south of France, he took the plunge and bought a house in a medieval village. Since then, he has been ferrying himself, his family and friends back and forth inthe vain attempt to persuade them all to emigrate with him. He was born in Shropshire England, is married with four children and didn’t
vote for Brexit.
One day, in the not too distant future, he hopes his book on living in the Corbières will be sold throughout the world turning him into an overnight sensation. Until that time comes, he will settle for being married to his beautiful wife and raising their four wonderful children, whilst enjoying as much time as possible savouring the delights of the Corbières with its excellent wine, food, culture, people, landscapes, coastline, villages, castles, beaches, river-swimming, grottos, caves, spectacular views, long walks, bakeries, patisseries, restaurants and, above all, its peace and quiet.
So no problem, he can wait...but can the world?!
